• Google OAuth data (email and profile) if you choose Google OAuth authentication

• Usage patterns and API call statistics
• Error logs and performance metrics

2.3 Translation Content

• Source text submitted for translation
• Translated text results
• Language pairs and translation metadata

Note: Translation content is processed in real time and not permanently stored unless required for caching or service improvement purposes.

• Maintain your session and keep you logged in
• Understand how you use our Service
• Improve user experience and Service performance
• Provide analytics and measure Service effectiveness

2.5 Google Sheets Add-on Data

• API Key Storage: Stored securely using Google Apps Script PropertiesService in Google infrastructure.
• Spreadsheet Access: Only selected cells/ranges are accessed for translation.
• Data Transmission: Only selected text content is sent to TranslatePlus API.
• Translation Results: Returned to your spreadsheet and written only to cells you specify.
• No Spreadsheet Metadata: No file IDs, permissions, ownership, or revision history is collected.
• User Permissions: Explicit OAuth consent required; access can be revoked in Google Account settings.
• Local Processing: Operations run in Google Apps Script environment.
• No Data Sharing: No third-party sharing except required translation processing.

Important: Your Google Sheets data remains under your control and is accessed only when you explicitly initiate translation.

We use collected information for:

• Service delivery and API processing
• Account management and authentication (including Google OAuth)
• Billing and credit balance management
• Communication (updates, alerts, support)
• Service quality and performance improvement
• Security and fraud/abuse prevention
• Compliance and terms enforcement
• Research and model improvement using anonymized data

4.1 We DO NOT Sell Your Data

We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.

4.2 Service Providers

We work with trusted providers for:

• Cloud hosting and infrastructure
• Payment processing
• Analytics and performance tooling
• Email delivery
• Security and fraud monitoring
• Authentication providers (Google OAuth)

All providers are bound by confidentiality obligations.

4.3 Legal Requirements

4.4 Business Transfers

If TranslatePlus is involved in merger, acquisition, or asset sale, information may be transferred with prior notice where required.

• Account Data: While account is active and a reasonable period after closure for legal/audit purposes
• Translation Content: Real-time processing with temporary cache (typically 24-48 hours)
• Google Sheets Add-on Data: API key retained in Google PropertiesService until add-on removal/revocation; translation logs follow same policy
• Usage Logs: Retained for 90 days
• Billing Records: Retained for 7 years

You may request deletion by closing your account or contacting support.

We implement industry-standard safeguards, including:

• TLS/SSL in transit and AES-256 at rest
• Role-based access controls and MFA
• Firewalling, monitoring, and incident response
• Password hashing using bcrypt with salting
• Regular patching and security updates
• Google Sheets Add-on security aligned with OAuth 2.0 and Google best practices

No transmission/storage method is 100% secure; absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

7.1 GDPR Rights (EU/EEA)

Rights include access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection, and withdrawal of consent.

7.2 CCPA Rights (California)

Rights include know, delete, opt-out of sale (we do not sell data), and non-discrimination.

We generally respond within 30 days, with identity verification where required.

8.1 Google OAuth Authentication

TranslatePlus offers optional Google OAuth 2.0 sign-in. We access only email and basic profile name for authentication/account association.

We do not access Google Drive, Gmail, Calendar, or other Google services data through OAuth.

8.2 Limited Use Disclosure

Use and transfer of Google API data adheres to Google API Services User Data Policy and Limited Use requirements.

8.3 Data Usage and Sharing

Google OAuth data is used only for account creation/management/authentication and service delivery.

We do not sell, rent, or use Google OAuth data for advertising or unrelated AI/model training.

8.4 User Control

You may revoke Google OAuth access in Google Account settings at any time. Your TranslatePlus account remains, but access method may change.

8.5 Compliance

Our use of Google OAuth complies with Google API policies, this Privacy Policy, and Terms of Service.
